Executive Council of Australian Jewry co-CEO Alex Ryvchin has doubted whether Gazan refugees entering Australia were divorced from the “jihadist” ideology of Hamas who controlled “every aspect” of life in Gaza.
Executive Council of Australian Jewry Co-CEO Alex Ryvchin has warned against importing people from Hamas -run Gaza as the listed terrorist organisation controls"every aspect" of life in the war-torn region.
“They draw no distinction between Israelis and Jews. If you listen to the recordings of the October 7 atrocities, they speak only of Jews, and this is what’s then fed to the people. There have been 2,922 Palestinians granted a visa to Australia with just under half of those currently residing in their new country, the vast majority of which holding temporary visitor visas.
Mr Ryvchin said Mr Basyouny’s claim was a “very convenient and cynical way to avoid a legitimate debate”.
