Several Houston rap legends joined fans Monday in celebration of the Houston Astros winning the 2023 World Series.
“Look at where we are, man,” Bun B said. “They built this team up the right way, farm system, invested in young talent, instead of trying to buy their way to the World Series and that’s why we’re here.”Lil Keke spoke with KPRC 2 Sports Reporter Ari Alexander on the Astros victory.
“No excuses, we don’t want to hear nothing, we did it fair and square way,” he said. “We don’t want to keep talking about the past, we here and it’s all about 2022, we the champs. The city is fired up today.”Watch the interview below:“I’m grateful, I’m glad, I’m happy we got another one just to show that we leveled up,” he said.
