Cavill has led the cast of Netflix's adaptation of the fantasy novels as Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter whose fate is tied to Cintran crown princess Ciri and quarter-elf sorceress Yennefer of Vengerberg.

The Yennefer actor said that while the atmosphere on set was the same as when wrapping previous seasons, she is going to "miss him a lot" heading into the show's future.
All we knew were the feelings that we have when any season comes to an end. It's full of pride and love and accomplishment for what we've done. So, we stayed in that moment rather than anything else. The news was... yeah, it's hard to take because he's a crucial part of the show and we all adore him. So, we're gonna miss him a lot. I wish him all the best.
Will The Witcher Survive Without Henry Cavill? Cavill's departure from The Witcher came right around the time he was gearing up for a major return to the DC Universe as Superman, having shot a cameo in Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam, only for his future to be scrapped with the hiring of James Gunn.
