ESPN will be deeply satisfied by both the numbers from the overall tournament as well as the WCWS two-game final, especially given the late start for Game 1. Clearly, the NCAA could break this property into its own media rights deals when the softball contract is up in a year.NCAA softball has been receiving better programming windows as a result of the growth.
