CAMPBELL — Wayfair and 8×8 have joined a fresh round of tech industry layoffs by revealing plans to jettison a combined 135 jobs in the Bay Area, official state filings show.
Wayfair, an e-commerce company, has decided to eliminate 74 jobs in Mountain View, WARN notices filed with the state Employment Development Department show. Boston-based Wayfair specializes in online sales of furniture and home goods.
