A possible intoxicated driver may face charges following a deadly crash in northeast Houston.

FOX 26 Reporter Matthew Seedorff has more on the investigation and what happened.Officials said the crash occurred in the 7000 block of Waxahachie. Houston police said a car hit a power pole, kept going, ran a stop sign and broadsided another vehicle at the intersection.

"Just heard tires screeching and then a loud noise, like the vehicle hit something," said Joe Celedon, who lives nearby. "I saw that the pole was down. Then further down, is what you see down the street where he hit somebody." Officials said a man and woman inside the vehicle that was struck were pronounced dead at the scene. A 12-year-old passenger inside the vehicle was taken to the hospital in stable condition. No other details have been released.
