Wawa plans to open more than 40 locations in the region over the next five to seven years.

The latest store opens at 8 a.m. today at 2941 Carlisle Road in Dover, York County. A ribbon cutting will take place at 8:30 a.m. The first 100 people in line will receive free Wawa T-shirts. Free coffee in any size will be poured through Dec. 15. The celebration will include a “Wawa Through the Ages” history parade, check presentation to the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank and a “Hoagies for Heroes” hoagie-building competition between local first responders.On Dec. 12, Wawa will open a store at 100 Metropolitan Way in East Pennsboro Township . Wawa said another store at 4535 W. Market St. in York is projected to open by the end of the year, although it hasn’t announced an opening date.
The chain expects to open a dozen stores in Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lycoming, Northumberland, Union and York Counties by the end of 2025.If you purchase a product or register for an account through a link on our site, we may receive compensation.
