Watford Women’s head coach Damon Lathrope is facing two FA charges following his sending off in Sunday’s 2-0 Championship defeat to Sunderland.
The Golden Girls boss was shown two yellow cards in the latter part of the second half, on both occasions for something he seemingly said in the technical area that led to the fourth official calling over the referee each time.
Lathrope has been charged with two breaches of FA Rule E3.1 and a statement reads: “It’s alleged that his language and/or behaviour towards a match official in the 84th and 97th minutes which led to his dismissal was improper and/or insulting. “It’s further alleged that his behaviour around the technical area following his dismissal was also improper.”We want our comments to be a lively and valuable part of our community - a place where readers can debate and engage with the most important local issues.
