Both water main breaks happened on SR 303 (Center Road) in less than 48 hours of each other.
BRUNSWICK , Ohio - Water was turned back on early Wednesday morning for Brunswick residents affected by two water main breaks, according to a Cleveland Water Department spokesperson.The first is just east of US 42 . Eastbound and westbound traffic between Pearl Rd. and Troon Ave. is closed.
Brunswick city officials said repairs may take three to five days due to the extent of the damage and the asphalt plants being closed due to the holiday.“Wow we had one and everyone said there’s another one and I was like wow there’s two now, didn’t expect it to be the same week and the same road actually,” said Samuel Turnea, Brunswick resident.
“Brunswick is kind of strange it’s the only city in Medina County that’s not getting its water from Medina County,” said resident Dave Jones. “Just seems like Cleveland isn’t quite as responsive to our problems as I think they could be.
