A water park where a ‘kind and smart’ girl, 11, died has been prevented from reopening on health and safety grounds.
Kyra Hill, 11, died in hospital after an ‘unexplained’ incident at Liquid Leisure in Windsor has been prevented from reopening on health and safety grounds.
She later died at Wexham Park Hospital, with Thames Valley Police saying the case was being treated as unexplained but not suspicious. A file was being prepared for the coroner, officers added. But, following a health and safety investigation from the council, it will remain shut until further notice.
It comes after one mother, 41, who witnessed the incident described a chaotic response when it became apparent that someone was missing.
