Scene of the water main break Cumberland County police confirmed a water main break occurred on Chestnut Street this morning, delaying school for Camp Hill High School and Middle School students.
Dispatch said that they were became aware of the problem around 7 a.m. and that Harrisburg Public Works were sent to respond. Camp Hill School District posted a notice on its website this morning that the district had received information from the utility company that water would be restored in time for students to arrive at 9:30 a.m. The district advised that no cars enter the school parking lot.
Students could either be dropped off at the gymnasium entrance along 24th Street, or they could walk down the school's driveway and enter the parking lot doors near the cafeteria.
