As veterans of World War II, Korea, and Vietnam descended on Washington, D.C. on Tuesday to celebrate the Honor Flight Network's milestone of bringing 250,000 veterans to the district, they took some time to send a special message to Putin.

"He better tuck his tail between his legs and go home before somebody kicks him in the rear," one Marine veteran told the Washington Examiner.

An Army Air Corps veteran called the man at the head of Russia's invasion of Ukraine a"typical dictator.""The guy is dangerous," he told the Washington Examiner."I believe he would sacrifice everything he has. ... He wants to get the Soviet Union back together."The Marine Corps veteran who served in the Korean War appeared to not look past American involvement against Putin's Russia, but he said changes would need to be made for an American victory.

"If we get involved in it as a country, no more of this political crap," the man said."Just go over there and win the damn thing, and then, everybody can go home." The last war the nation fought to win was World War II, he added."After that, it was all political. ... That's not a way to fight a war. If you're gonna commit young people to get killed, you better give them the opportunity to fight to win."
