In season 2, Alina Starkov and her love interest Mal Oretsev face the black shadow army of General Kirigan. Together, they make new allies and go on a mission to find mythical objects that will amplify Alina's powers to defeat the enemy. The trailer shows off new characters joining the cast, as well as a glimpse of what the season 1 characters have been up to."Shadow and Bone" is based on the books, The Grisha trilogy and the Six of Crows duology, by Leigh Bardugo. Season 2 hits Netflix on March 16.
