Cape Town – Paramount Pictures released the first teaser trailer forsequel set 34 years after the previous film.
The trailer opens with a shot of Tom flying over a desert terrain in the background Ed Harris gives a rundown of Maverick's career and says,"You should be at least a two-star admiral by now. Yet here you are, Captain. Why is that?"In the rest of the clip we see scenes of Jon Hamm, Jennifer Connelly, Glen Powell, Jay Ellis, Monica Barbaro, and some insane flying sequences.
