After arranging a meetup in Phoenix Park on a trip home to Dublin this week, Niall could not believe when the huge crowd gathered

A Co Tyrone native who has gained a huge social media following for his work rescuing street dogs in Thailand received an overwhelming response at a Dublin park this week.

A video posted on Niall’s social media accounts showed the swathes of people who turned up to greet him, inspired by his work to treat dogs in Thailand.“People told me they came from Kerry, Donegal and even one lady from Germany just to join.Having moved to Brussels at an early age where his father worked as a diplomat, Niall later moved to Dublin and worked as a chef before founding successful social media companies Simply Zesty and Lovin Dublin.

“I started with just three or four dogs on my own and it just started growing from there and I think it’s capturing people’s imaginations because there’s so much doom and gloom around,” Niall told Belfast Live in an interview earlier this year.
