While agreeing that Democratic candidates are not pushing a convincing message in response to crime concerns, Joy Behar said that increases in crime are due to weak gun laws. Sara Haines claimed that Democrats are not soft on crime, as Republicans are painting them, but that their messaging is falling flat.

Haines added that her biggest issue in the midterm elections is"election deniers," calling them"my biggest fear right now."Behar went so far as to claim that"it's a cult, it's not Republicans anymore" of the GOP and its candidates.
