Taylor Swift performed 'We Are Happy' and 'Happiness' live in Hamburg on the Eras Tour.
brought her Eras Tour to Hamburg this week. During the first of two shows at the city’s Volksparkstadion Stadium, the singer performed her songs “We Are Happy” and “Happiness” live for the first time.
Although it poured rain on the stage and audience, Swift made the most of the concert and used the surprise song section of the setlist to mash up the two songs. “We Are Happy” is a “From The Vault” song featured on “So these next ones I’ve never played live,” Swift told the crowd. “So wish me luck.”
During the show, the singer also performed “Teardrops On My Guitar” and “The Last Time” on acoustic guitar as part of the surprise song section of the setlist. will be “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.” “We’re so depressed we act like it’s ’s birthday every day!” Taylor Nation’s official account wrote on Instagram Tuesday, referencing the bubbly track’s lyrics.
“I was just like, ‘What? I would love to do that, are you kidding me? I’ve seen the show enough — might as well put me to work here.’” The Eras Tour continues in Hamburg tonight before heading to Munich. It then goes to Warsaw and Vienna before wrapping the European leg at London’s Wembley Stadium with five more shows.
