The Doggfather starts by checking out the world’s most famous painting, Leonardo Da Vinci’s “Mona Lisa.” “I just found out I was Mona Lisa’s twin brother, Tony Lisa,” he jokes while looking at the painting in awe, checking whether the portrait’s eyes follow him by observing it from different angles. Next, Snoop takes in the “Winged Victory of Samothrace” sculpture, correctly guessing which of the masterpiece’s wings is an original part of the statue, and which had to be replaced. “I love this,” he says in disbelief. “This is beautiful.”
Later, the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” artist mistakes a painting of the Roman god Cupid for a woman — that is, until he gets a closer look at the figure’s anatomy. “That ain’t a lady?” he remarks. “Cupid? I knew it was somebody I knew.”Snoop has been in the City of Love since the Olympics kicked off July 26, serving as a commentator for NBC.
