“Read Me a Story, Stella,” by Marie-Louise Gay, was listed as potentially “sexually explicit” by the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library.
The decision by an Alabama public library to flag a children’s book written by an author whose last name is Gay inspired a joke by Weekend Update’s Colin Jost for the 49th season opener of Saturday Night Live.
