Step back into the magic with the official trailer for the final season of Disney's "Wizards Beyond Waverly Place.
" The four-part finale event sees the return of executive producer Selena Gomez as Alex Russo, alongside some "Wizards of Waverly Place" fan favorite characters, Harper Finkle and Mason Greyback . In the trailer, Alex answers a knock at her door from Mason.
"I've missed you," he says, before they embrace in a big hug . In addition to reprising her iconic role, Gomez will make her directorial debut with the premiere episode, which kicks off the finale event following Billie , who "discovers that the only way to rescue her mother, Alex, is to reunite with her long-lost father.
As her family bands together to find Alex, Billie realizes that their combined power is the only way the Russos can defeat the evil plaguing them.
" Alongside Brown, series regulars include executive producer David Henrie , Alkaio Thiele , Max Matenko , Taylor Cora and Mimi Gianopulos .
