'Some of the players feel like the club is just doing all of this for the buzz on social media,' a source told the Mgosi Squad.
While all of the players appreciate the gesture, some feel it would have been appropriate for the club to deposit their bonuses in their bank accounts instead of having cash thrown around at them on the pitch.
“No one will say no to money but we need to understand that we are in a professional set-up and all of this needs to be handled as such. Some of the players feel like the club is just doing all of this for the buzz on social media,” said a source within the club. Royal AM, backed by the Mkhize millions, bought the status of Bloemfontein Celtic to grab a place in this season’s DStv Premiership.
