Irate Elandskop residents are protesting over electricity outages. The residents have closed off Taylor's Halt to KwaMnyandu. Madonda said they have established that the community is demanding attention from the municipality and the power utility, Eskom. “They have closed all the roads in the area including the main roads. We are still trying to make our way to the area because we don’t want the situation to escalate and become violent.
