Atkins went to investigate and found two Montgomery police officers and an animal control officer. They told him to get back inside because the cow was charging. Children attending Vacation Bible School at Taylor Road Baptist Church in Montgomery got a surprise when a cow showed up on campus. “The cow got agitated when it saw people walking by and it started pawing at the ground acting like it was going to charge the window,’’ Atkins said, “so we quickly diverted all traffic to another hallway.”
