Disney released on Thursday, November 3, a new teaser for 'Avatar: The Way of Water,' the highly-anticipated sequel to the sci-fi blockbuster hit 'Avatar'! Watch it here:
Avatar: The Way of Water,is set more than a decade after the events of the first film, wherein human explorer Sully decided to be trapped in the body of a blue alien forever. In the sequel, Jake Sully and Neytiri build their family in the beautiful alien planet of Pandora. While the two-minute-and-a-half clip teases more of the mystical landscapes of the fantasy world, it also hints at a brewing war that would disrupt the peace in Pandora.
“This is our home,” Neytiri said in the clip as Sully told her: “I need you, with me. I need you to be strong. Strong heart.” film also sees the return of Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi, CCH Pounder, Joel David Moore, and Matt Gerald. Siguorney Weaver is also set to come back, although in a new role.
Joining them are Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Brendan Cowell, Vin Diesel, Edie Falco, and CJ Jones. James Cameron is producing the sequel alongside Jon Landau, who also co-wrote the script in the original film. which debuted in 2009, held the global box office title for a decade until it was overtaken by Marvel Superhero epic
