Two teenage boys are in custody after they attempted to steal a man's car at gunpoint, according to the Prince George's County Police Department.

Prince George's County steps up enforcement, penalties against illegal dumping "One of the guys just pulled the gun, put it on my head, told me to give him the keys, and I just raised my hand up and told them the car is on, the keys are on, take whatever you need," Borda told WJLA.
"Then he saw the phone, he was like, 'Give me your phone too. '" "At the moment I was fearful for my life," Borda, a marine veteran, said. "The next thought that I had was if they take the truck, how am I going to go to work? ""That's when I took control of the gun and just pulled it towards me...then pulled it to the truck side," he said.
Borda said his brother came, hit the teenage boy and that's when the boy fired, hitting Borda's truck. Borda said his dad came to help, too. The three men detained two of the attackers until police arrived, according to PGCPD. One of the suspects was treated for minor injuries before being taken into custody.
Borda said he was treated at the scene for a minor cut during the fight, from when the gun jerked.
"This remains an active investigation as we are in consultation with the State’s Attorney's Office regarding charges," a spokesperson for PGCPD told WJLA.
