DONALD TRUMP ARREST: MARJORIE TAYLOR GREENE CALLS BRAGG ‘A TOOL FOR THE DEMOCRATS’ IN FIERY PROTEST RALLY Trump surrendered himself to New York authorities on Tuesday around 1 p.m. after flying to New York from his home in Mar-a-Lago on Monday.Bragg and the grand jury's investigation of Trump have received heavy backlash from Trump supporters and Republican lawmakers such as Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene , who flew to New York to join the crowd in protesting the indictment of the former president, which he calls a"witch hunt.
"There have been many people throughout history that had been arrested and persecuted by radical, corrupt governments. And it's beginning today in New York City. And I just can't believe it's happening, but I'll always support him. He's done nothing wrong," the congresswoman said.
