White House press secretary K_JeanPierre joined the ladies of The View on Thursday, telling them that Russian President Vladimir Putin is responsible for rising prices.

She added that “anything helps” when it comes to relief on inflation and further touted the president's recent temporary suspension of the federal gas tax, which she called “straightforward and simple.” She also discussed Biden's actions regarding gun control following the fatal school shooting in Uvalde, Texas. The president, according to Jean-Pierre, has done more than any other president to further gun safety measures.
Asked about the highly anticipated decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, she told the hosts that the news of the likely decision to overturn Roe v. Wade was “devastating to hear” before assuring them that “we are looking at all options” to take action on reproductive rights and that the administration will “call on Congress to restore Roe.“In reference to the Jan.
