WATCH: Idol Survival Show 'PeakTime' Kicks Off Collab Battle With Exciting Performances + Announces Current Rankings

Last week, the 16 teams formed alliances of 4 teams each for the show’s collaboration battle, in which the alliances split up into vocal, rap, and dance units. A: Teams 2:00 , 5:00 , 9:00 , 18:00 D: Teams 1:00 , 4:00 , 7:00 , 14:00

The March 8 episode began with footage of all the units rehearsing their performances for the battle, which will award a benefit of 2 percent of all votes to the winning alliance. Host Lee Seung Gi also revealed that a special panel of 25 expert judges, separate from the program’s usual panel of judges, would be selecting one MVP for each division . Each MVP’s team will receive an additional benefit of 5 percent of all votes.
