MECHANICSBURG — Northwestern Lehigh outlasted WPIAL champion Avonworth, 36-33 in the PIAA Class 3A football final at Cumberland Valley’s Chapman Field on Saturday. The Tigers hadEli Zimmerman was a force on both sides of the ball for Northwestern Lehigh. Offensively, he took 29 carries for 123 yards and three rushing touchdowns, all while adding a sack and fumble recovery on defense.
The Antelopes were powered by Luca Neals four rushing touchdowns, which he amassed over 36 totes for 252 yards.
