The aide said Harris talked about the importance of a peaceful transfer of power and being a president for all Americans. "President Trump acknowledged Vice President Harris on her strength, professionalism, and tenacity throughout the campaign, and both leaders agreed on the importance of unifying the country," Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung said afterward in a statement.The White House says she will deliver remarks at 4 p.m. ET at Howard University in Washington, D.C. — her alma mater and the site of what supporters had hoped would be her victory party on Tuesday night.
