The three young royals had some burning questions to ask
, it's clear that the young royals are growing up into curious, inquisitive individuals. And yesterday, the three heirs to the throne got to prove that for themselves, as they spoke directly to camera for the first time ever.
George, Charlotte and Louis all star in a new short video with David Attenborough, in which they're seen posing questions to the legendary broadcaster. Prince George goes first, opening the video with: 'Hello David Attenborough! Which animal do you think will become extinct next?' The natural historian responds, saying that he hopes that no more animals will become extinct, and explaining that endangered species can be protected and saved 'if you want to and your put your mind to it'. Next up is Princess Charlotte, who reveals that she has a fondness for spiders. She then asks: 'Do you like spiders too?' He responds: 'I love spiders, I'm so glad you like spiders too. I think they're wonderful things. Why is it that people are so frightened of them?' He hazards a guess that it's perhaps their ability to move in any direction that unnerves people, and suggests that Charlotte watches a spider weave its web — because 'that is extraordinary'. Finally, Prince Louis gets to ask a question — 'What animal do you like?' — and, if you thought it didn't get any cuter than that, the two-year-old adorably pronounces the word 'animal' incorrectly.The sweet video was posted on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's official Instagram, @Kensingtonroyal, and has already received over five million likes and thousands of comments.
