[WATCH] Dr Mahathir, Pakatan won’t attend swearing-in of 8th PM
DR Mahathir Mohamad and Pakatan Harapan will not attend the swearing in ceremony of Muhyiddin Yassin as the new prime minister at Istana Negara today.
The former prime minister held a press conference this morning at Yayasan Al-bukhary after a night of MPs signing statutory declarations in support of the 93-year-old. He said he has the support of 114 MPs. However, Dr Mahathir said he is unable to see the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to convey this.—March 1, 2020.
