The DA in KwaZulu-Natal put up posters that read: 'The ANC called you racists' and 'The DA calls you heroes' in Phoenix, which caused an outcry.
According to the DA in KZN the posters were not sanctioned by its leadership and apologised for hurting people.
Police Minister Bheki Cele slammed DA leader, John Steenhuisen but the Steenhuisen says he does not care what the Minister thinks of him. Meanwhile, DA Federal Council Chairperson Helen Zille also refused to comment on her party's posters in Phoenix. She says she is more concerned about the living conditions of South Africans and not the outrage on social media.
