PASADENA, Calif. — Shilo Sanders brought the hammer one time too many.
PASADENA, CALIFORNIA – OCTOBER 28: Colorado Buffaloes safety Shilo Sanders hits UCLA Bruins running back Carsen Ryan during the first half as the Colorado Buffaloes play the UCLA Bruins at Rose Bowl Stadium on October 28, 2023 in Pasadena, California. Sanders got a flag on the play. The Buffs safety, son of CU football coach Deion Sanders, was ejected for targeting a UCLA receiver late in the second quarter of the Buffs’ tussle with the Bruins early Saturday evening.
It was the second “highlight” hit for Sanders in the game, having forced a fumble early in the second quarter for a shoulder-to-shoulder barge with UCLA tailback Carson Steele, jarring the ball loose for a Bruins turnover.
