They also accuse the police of brutality. CourtesyJOHANNESBURG - The community of Alexandra, north of Johannesburg, says it has very little faith in police eradicating crime in the area.
Gauteng Community Safety MEC Faith Mazibuko visited the area on Saturday to engage with residents about the way forward.Police and community members spent the day trying to find solutions to the high crime rate in the area. For some residents - trusting the police is a no-no but police say community members must come forward with proof of their claims and not allow criminals to come between them and solving crime.
