Northeast Ohio firefighters enlisted the help of a local business.
It was a sight all too familiar this weekend to Florence Township firefighters, who got called out twice to battle a tree on fire on Florence Wakeman Road. The department first responded around 11 p.m.
Saturday and used more than 1,000 gallons of water, but they returned to flames around 1:30 a.m. Sunday. Ryan Beane with Beane’s Stump and Tree says his team jumped to action in the middle of the night — around 3 a.m. — to remove the tree. Video shows flames and smoke pouring from the trunk.
