Christina Aguilera returned to her Disney roots as she gave a new take on the song “Reflection” in time for the release of the Mulan live-action movie this September.
On Instagram Friday, August 28, Christina wrote, “I am at a place of new beginnings in my life and set out to embrace the woman I’ve become, having grown up in this business, till now. "So this song always resonates and represents exciting and new chapters & energy for me. I hope you enjoy this fresh new take of 'Reflection.' Thank you @Disney for always being a special family to me, providing so many personal & public moments dear to my heart," she added.
The song holds a special place in Christina’s heart. She first performed the song in 1998 during the release of the animated film. Aside from the new version of"Reflection," Christina also recorded another song –"Loyal Brave True" – released last August 14.due to the coronavirus pandemic.
