Netflix has released the first five minutes of Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F ahead of the legacy sequel coming out on the streamer.
Ahead of the film’s release on July 3, Netflix has released the first five minutes of Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F. The opening shows Eddie Murphy’s Axel Foley back for another adventure as he teams up with Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the legacy sequel. In the opening, he’s seen attending a hockey game.
“Detective Axel Foley is back on the beat in Beverly Hills. After his daughter’s life is threatened, she (movie, directed by Martin Brest, was released in 1984. It quickly became a huge financial hit, making approximately $234 million at the global box office, and helped further Murphy’s acting career following his roles in 1982’s 48 Hrs., 1983’s Trading Places, and 1984’s Best Defense.
Beverly Hills Cop was followed by two sequels, 1987’s Beverly Hills Cop II and 1994’s Beverly Hills Cop III.
