As All-Ireland fever grips the Orchard County, the streets of Armagh City have been decorated in orange and white ahead of Sunday’s clash with Galway in Croke Park.
Businesses in Armagh City, especially publicans, are preparing themselves for a busy few days. Malachy O’Neill is the owner of Red Neds pub on Ogle Street not far from the Box-It Athletic Grounds. “This is want Armagh, in general, needed to cheer themselves up a bit. Hopefully we can get over the line - it means on awful lot to us.”
Sean Devlin played in the 1977 All-Ireland final with the Orchard County losing out to Dublin. His former teammate Joe Kernan would go on to manage the 2002 team to victory against Kerry.
