Amari Cooper made a sensational leaping catch on a third down to help the Browns drive for a game-tying field goal vs. the 49ers on Sunday.
rsCLEVELAND, Ohio — The Browns and 49ers are tied at 10 early in the third quarter thanks to a big catch by Amari Cooper.
On a third down on the opening drive of the quarter, P.J. Walker floated a ball down the right sideline and Cooper made a tremendous leaping catch with two 49ers in the area.Cooper was locked up in tight coverage against 49ers cornerback Charvarius Ward, and had safety Talanoa Hufanga bearing down. But Cooper kept his composure and reeled in a huge catch and got two feet down to extend the drive.
The catch went for 27 yards and the Browns eventually were forced to settle for a 42-yard field goal try.
