INDIANAPOLIS — The superintendent of Washington Township Schools has announced her retirement.she will retire at the end of the next school year, which will be her 14th leading the district.
Among the achievements during her time as superintendent, Woodson pointed to a double-digit increase in graduation rate and passing two major referendums, in addition to leading the district through the COVID-19 pandemic. Woodson graduated from Ball State University, then earned a master's degree from Butler University and a Doctor of Philosophy from Purdue University. She during her professional career and served on several boards across central Indiana.
