Freedom 250, the committee organizing the 250th birthday celebration, tested projections on the Washington Monument overnight. The event will include fireworks and other celebrations on New Year's Eve. Additionally, information is provided on other local New Year's events, including Sherman Circle's ball drop and events at Moreland's Tavern.
