Steve Kerr and Stephen Curry joined the White House press briefing on Tuesday morning. At the briefing, Curry thanked the Biden administration for its role in bringing Brittney Griner home.
The Warriors previously visited the White House after winning the 2015 title, when President Barack Obama was in office, but did not go after their 2017 and 2018 titles to see then-President Donald Trump.The Warriors had Curry get introduced at the same time as Biden.
The two walked to the podium together, almost appearing like running mates. Curry gave a speech after Biden and presented both him and Harris with the jerseys. An hour earlier, Curry spoke at the lectern about the visit and social issues. Afterward, he faced a jam-packed political press corps and was peppered with questions.
