Draymond Green ejected in second quarter of Game 1 vs. Grizzlies
Green picked up his first technical of the playoffs in Game 4 of the first round against the Nuggets. Just 40 seconds into that game, Green committed a foul on Nikola Jokic by hitting him in the face and then got into a heated discussion with Denver’s Aaron Gordon, a San Jose native and former Mitty star.
The NBA automatically suspends a player one game if they pick up seven technical fouls during the postseason . Green nearly hit the one-game suspension threshold in 2019, picking up his sixth technical foul of the 2019 postseason in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
