Printer manufacturer HP recently released an update preventing people from using them 'unofficially' with cheap ink cartridges.
HP has blocked millions of people across the globe from using their printers in a move that has caused a huge backlash.
This means anyone buying cheaper, off-brand products will result in their printer not working, with HP describing the move as a way to protect its intellectual property. The tech giant says it has changed its rules "to maintain the integrity of our printing systems, and protect our intellectual property."
Top Trending Stories Today The update hasn't gone down well with owners with many heading straight to HP's forum pages to complain.
