Andrew said he was 'unbelievably lucky'
A dad had no idea he was living with a tumour like a ticking time bomb inside him - until it suddenly burst in the middle of his daughters' birthday celebrations.

It was almost a gift from the gods. It was golf ball-sized when it ruptured, and that gave me the warning I needed to get checked out, and so they found it fairly early.
He said: "My life was hanging in the balance. After the operation I couldn't eat for months. I was on a liquid diet, and it was a very slow process of getting fit and healthy again. It took the best part of a year to feel normal again. It was a tough 18 months, but I was just relieved to be alive.
