An expert has revealed why you may be better off charging a device to 80 percent instead of 100

An expert has issued a warning to those who charge their mobile phones overnight, as they could be wearing down their batteries faster than usual.

This is according to Ciaran Lee, a mobile gaming expert from Casinos.win, who explained why you should charge a phone to 80 percent instead of 100. "They don't like to be fully charged and by making a few small changes to the way you charge your phone you can help maintain the battery and keep your phone for longer."

Top Trending Stories Today Ciaran says: "Checking if your phone is at a certain battery charge is going to become tiresome very fast, instead of checking your phone manually you can set up an automation on newer phones which alerts you when your battery percentage goes below or above a certain level."
