Might be time to check those kitchen cupboards
A warning has been issued to supermarket shoppers by the Food Standards Agency over a number of products removed from the shelves or health reasons.
Lidl Lidl GB is recalling Simply Grated Cheddar because it may contain small pieces of plastic. The possible presence of plastic makes this product unsafe to eat.The FSA said: "If you have bought the above product do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund. Any customers with queries or concerns can contact Lidl Customer Services on 0800 444 1234 or [email protected].
The FSA said: "If you have bought the above product and have an allergy to almonds , do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund. For further information, please visit www.aldi.co.uk or contact https://customerservice.aldi.co.uk/contact." Asda said: "We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused. If you would like any further information, please contact Asda Customer Relations – 0800 952 0101."
