Warner Bros. Entertainment Chairman Kevin Tsujihara has resigned as head of the storied film studio following reports that he used his position to seek movie roles for an actress with whom he was romantically involved by DawnC331

Tsujihara apologized to his staff two weeks ago for “mistakes in my personal life that have caused pain and embarrassment” and pledged to do better.“It was a decision made with the best, long-term interests of the Company, our employees and our partners in mind,” said WarnerMedia CEO John Stankey in a memo to employees. “Kevin has acknowledged that his mistakes are inconsistent with the company’s leadership expectations and could impact the company’s ability to execute going forward.

The report prompted WarnerMedia to retain an outside law firm to investigate the allegations of impropriety.
