Why Welcome To Derry's IT prequel must succeed.
Summary The success of IT: Welcome to Derry is now way more important since A24’s Friday the 13th reboot, Crystal Lake, will now be impacted by the prequel. Director Andy Muschietti adapted Stephen King’s iconic novel IT as a two-part movie series, with 2017’s IT becoming a massive box office success upon release. IT also impressed critics but, although 2019’s sequel IT: Chapter Two fared well at the box office, the follow-up was unable to reclaim the critical acclaim of its predecessor.
